Day 01

Built during the reign of King Ly Thanh Tong in 1070, it was not only the country's first university but also a repository of thousands of years of cultural heritage. Here, you can explore the majestic architecture of the imperial court, such as: Van Ho Lake, Van Mieu Gate, Dai Trung Gate, Khue Van Pavilion, Khai Thanh Temple, Dai Bai Hall, the garden of doctoral steles, and Thien Quang Well.
In addition, you can participate in activities such as the Lantern Festival poetry gathering, requesting calligraphy from Van Mieu Temple, and offering incense to pray for success in examinations, to gain a deeper understanding of traditional cultural values.

Visiting the Imperial Citadel offers the opportunity to admire impressive, historically significant architecture: the Hanoi Flagpole, the North Gate, the Kinh Thien Palace, and the Doan Mon Gate.

Ho Chi Minh MausoleumThe Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, also known as the Mausoleum of President Ho Chi Minh, is located at 2 Hung Vuong Street, Hanoi. It is a structure preserving the remains of President Ho Chi Minh, fulfilling the wishes of the Party and the people. The centerpiece of the Mausoleum is the room containing the remains of President Ho Chi Minh. His remains are placed in a glass coffin, resting on a bed on a stone pedestal, and are always guarded by soldiers.
Besides visiting the Mausoleum, visitors can also explore other prominent areas such as: Ba Dinh Square, the Monument to the Martyrs, the Presidential Palace, President Ho Chi Minh's stilt house, President Ho Chi Minh's fish pond, the Ho Chi Minh Museum, and the One Pillar Pagoda.
